This is my 1997 Viper GTS. I've wanted a Viper since the day I first saw one, and in 1996 Dodge released the GTS version which made my heart beat even faster. Ten years later, I finally own one! I purchased this one from it's second owner on January 24th, 2006. It had 23,000 miles on it and was in perfect condition. It's my daily driver now. I simply can't get enough of the car. It's my favorite car of the bunch, and now that it has close to 700 horsepower, it's that much more fun to drive.

See all the mods in chronological order: viper_history page.

Exterior: The wheels are 18" SSR's and are considerably lighter than the stock wheels. The dark metallic stripes are painted on and sealed in clearcoat, while the orange stripes are vinyl. The carbon fiber cowl cover was purchased from an individual who makes carbon fiber items and sells them primarily on ebay and the viper forums. The gas cap is the stock one with the clearcoat sanded off and then hand brushed for a unique (for Vipers anyway) look.

Interior: Autometer Boost and Fuel Pressure Gauges, the shift knob, shift and e-brake boots are from our company, Auger Resources. I also installed a trunk cover so that we can put cargo in the back. The shift light is by Raptor and the fire extinguisher is from Roe Racing.

Engine: Paxton Novi 2000 Supercharger, ATI Harmonic Balancer, HS Roller Rockers, my own custom airbox, custom powdercoated bits, hi-temp orange spark plug wires, Edelbrock Headers, DC Performance Chromoly lightened flywheel, Power Steering Safety Cap (fire bad umkay?). The exhaust is by Random Technology and includes new 3" hi-flow cats, silencers and muffler delete with cross pipe and polished tips. The exhaust sounds fantastic! You've never heard a Viper sound so good. Listen for yourself (wav file)!
