| 1. Gently pry off the shift knob cap with
a small, flat head screwdriver. |

| 2. Grip the set pin with a pair of vice
grips and pull the pin. You may find that you have to wiggle the vice grips
slightly from side to side to work the pin loose. |

| 3. Now you can unscrew the old shift knob
(counter-clockwise) and screw on the new knob. |

| 8. Reinstall the shift knob and enjoy
your new shift boot! |
