This
is a set of three frames I made. The frames are flat black and gloss red - inspired
by an old hot rod at a car show. The prints, by R.H. Phister, can be found
here.

Designing
for wood is something I've been devoting more and more time to these days. Besides
just wanting to build things that look exactly the way I want them to look,
I really like designing functional, purpose built pieces. I also like customizing
for a particular style or space or need.
This
coat rack was made to match the Craftsman style windows in my old apartment.
It has copper cross pieces that tie into the other copper elements in that house.
I chose
overflowed
this shelf and I have a more extensive entertainment center with dvd storage
being built in my brain.

to do this spur of the moment project by the piles of dvds on the floor in the

file cabinet was my first more complex piece of furniture. It was designed to
match the style and proportions of the desk I had just refinished.
This
is a current project. I sketched the bookshelf, built it in Max, rendered it
in wireframe to work with in Photoshop, and then printed the views so I could
continue to work on the measurements and details.
